The Festival of New American Music brings extraordinary musicians to Sacramento, California, each year to present high-quality performances of a broad body of recently composed or improvised music by some of America’s most exciting artists. Violinist Sophia Stoyanovich, cellist Christine Lee, flutist Anthony Trionfo, clarinetist Benjamin Haeuser, pianist Yvonne Chen, percussionist Nonoka Mizukami and members of CityWater Ensemble join forces for a concert featuring Steve Reich’s ‘Double Sextet’ in addition to new works of American composers today.
