Held every summer, the Lucerne Music Festival takes place from mid-August to mid-September and offers a widely varied range of approximately 100 concerts and related events. The Contemporary Music Festival Chamber Series in the Box Theater will feature performances of Jalalu-Kalvert Nelson’s Music for String Quartet, Winds, Percussion and Solo Trumpet “Jim is Still Crowing” and Tanya Leon ‘Idígena’ for Strings, Winds, and Percussion. Conducted by Michelle Di Russo and Joseph Sieber.
